Fort Frye Art Show winners named
The Fort Frye High School art department held its annual art show May 15 in the school’s small gym. Receiving “Best of Show” was Abigail Medina for her Encaustic entitled “Peacock.”
Displays in numerous media were presented, with the following winners being chosen as first, second, and third place award winners:

Fort Frye High School art teacher is Ms. Kathy Allen-Bidwell. Judge for the show was Fort Frye elementary art teacher Eric Henniger.

These Beverly-Center Elementary students were chosen as “Student of the Month” for May for demonstrating their “Cadet Pride” – Character, Attitude, Determination, Effort, Team Work, Pride, Respect, Integrity, Dependability and Encouragement: Kindergarten – Bowen Elliott and Lawrence West; First Grade – Coen Fouss and Jaymi Gallegos; Second Grade – Connor Campbell and Joel Duskey; Third Grade – Shannon Cooper, Ethan Duskey and Ryan Duskey; Fourth grade – Anhalah Anderson and Cody Owens; Fifth Grade – Brian Adkins and Brandon Roe; Sixth Grade – Isaiah Jones.
