Jennifer Nicole Dick and Scott Leon Green were united in marriage on Oct. 26, 2013, at Columbia Square in Savannah, Ga. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Ursula C. Guenzel. Music for ceremony consisted of traditional wedding pieces on the cello. Ceremony readings were performed by Julie and Rachel Green, sisters-in-law of the groom, and Jana Garbrecat, friend of the couple. The bride’s parents hosted a seated dinner and reception at Cha Bella. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Bonna Bella Waterfront Grill.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Roger Dick of Williamstown. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Violet Wiseman and the late Charles Wiseman of Parkersburg, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Hadley Dick of Williamstown.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Green of New Orleans, La. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Barnett Blitz of New Orleans, and the late Mrs. Annette Green.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless Maggie Sottero gown of ivory with intricate lace motifs adorning the tulle fit and flare silhouette with soft sweetheart neckline and scalloped edging. The gown was complemented by a grosgrain floral belt with Swarovski crystals and a fingertip length veil.

The bride carried a hand-tied nosegay bouquet of Juliet garden roses, peonies, white freesia, Esther roses, seeded eucalyptus, and pale pink ranunculus.

Sharon Findlay of Asheville, N.C. served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Jessica Abbott of Harrisburg, Pa., Catherine Rylands of Pittsburgh, Pa., Brittany Baird of Charlotte, N.C., and Christina Harner of Akron, Ohio. The flower girl was Ellie Enoch of Parkersburg, cousin of the bride. The maid of honor and bridesmaids wore gray floor-length chiffon gowns. Each carried a hand-tied bouquet of pink Esther roses, pink tea roses, and dusty miller.

Katherine Higdon of Chicago, Ill. served as best woman. Groomsmen included Ehren Green of Akron, brother of the groom; Jens Braun, of Mannheim, Germany; Alex Green, of San Francisco, Ca., brother of the groom; and Justin Higdon of Chicago, Ill. The ring bearer was Parker Dobson, of Washington, W.Va., cousin of the bride.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Williamstown High School. She is a 2007 magna cum laude graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with a bachelor’s degree in chemisty. She is a 2011 graduate of West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and is now a resident physician in pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of North Canton Hoover High School and a 2007 graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is employed at Keller Williams as a realtor in Columbus.

Following the wedding, the couple had a honeymoon in Key West, Fla.

They now reside in Columbus.
