Theda Yoho Ramsey
Theda JoAnne Yoho Ramsey 50, of Washington, W.Va., passed away unexpectedly Dec. 6, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center.
She was born March 8, 1963, a daughter of Clyde W. “Dean” and Ruth Ann Cox Yoho of Washington, W.Va.
Theda was a 1981 graduate of Parkersburg High School and graduated from Hocking Technical College in Nelsonvile, Ohio in 1987. She began her nursing career in Elkins, W.Va., and was currently employed by Camden Clark Medical Center for the past 26 years, primarily in the Obstetrics Department.
Theda loved being a nurse, loved her family, the new fallen snow and cross stitching pictures.
In additon to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 23 years, Gene Edward Ramsey; two sons, Bryan Edward Ramsey and Michael Paul Ramsey, both at home; two brothers, Wayne Edward (Nina) Yoho of Williamstown and Marvin Dean (Joyce) Yoho of Waverly; nephew, Levi Dean Yoho (Stevie Laughery) of Marietta; nieces, Holli Michelle (Adam) Bartlett of Belpre, Kelly Jo (Anthony) Barnett of Idaho and Laura Lynn (Nick Hupp) Yoho of Pittsville, Md.; and great nieces, Halyee and Abbie Bartlett. Also surviving is her mother-in-law, Zana Ward of Winona, W.Va.; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, Joe Ward, William Ramsey, Wayne Ramsey, Joanie Franklin, Merelia Ray, Susan McNeeley, Kathy Jones and Darlene Raider.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lorie Flesher Cox and Roy E. Cox; and her paternal grandparents, Amy B. and Clyde J. Yoho.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St. Parkersburg. The Rev. Jim Mike Ward, Evangelist Dana Slingluff and Pastor Dave Stilgenbauer will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8 p.m. and an hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
