Jerri Sheridan, 60, of Parkersburg, passed away Dec. 5, 2013, at the Parkersburg Care and Rehabilitation Nursing Facility.
She was born May 7, 1953, in Parkersburg, the youngest daughter of Louise LaRue Morrison and the late Harvey L. Morrison Sr.
Jerri graduated from Wirt County High School where she was a member of the Tiger Marching Band. She worked for United Bank for 33 years and Commercial Bank for five years and was a member of Lynn Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her mother, Louise Morrison, she is survived by two sisters, Connie Brown (Carroll) and Wanda Mills (John); one brother, Harvey Morrison Jr. (Peggy); three nieces, Penny Weekley (Kevin), Angie Rule (Rich) and Julie Preston (Steve); great-nephew, Ryan Weekley; great-nieces, Emily Weekley, Taylor Rule and Summer Rule; one uncle, Emery “Pat” LaRue (Roseanne) of Crivitz, Wis.; two aunts, Frances Fought of Parkersburg and Renie Gault (Lionel) of Melbourne, Fla.; and several cousins.
Jerri was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Morrison Sr., who passed away June 4, 2013; one great-nephew, Michael H. Morrison; and one uncle, Frankie Fought.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Willows Nursing Center and the Parkersburg Care and Rehabilitation Nursing Center for their love, care and support.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike Street, south Parkersburg, with Teddy Tackett officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lynn Street Church of Christ in memory of Jerri.
