Leadership West Virginia to hold October conference

PARKERSBURG – The Leadership West Virginia Moving West Virginia Forward Leadership Conference will be held Oct. 17-18 in Morgantown.

The conference, sponsored by Wells Fargo, West Virginia United Health System and the West Virginia University College of Business and Economics, will concentrate on the Affordable Care Act and is open to the public.

Our conference is bringing together a host of experts to explain the law and how it will affect healthcare providers, their patients, employers, employees and the State of West Virginia,” said Pam Farris, executive director, Leadership West Virginia.

The conference will feature presentations by: Secretary Robert Kiss of the state Department of Revenue; Dr. Ronald Leopold, senior vice president, Wells Fargo Insurance Services; Evan Jenkins, executive director, State Medical Association; Joseph Letnaunchyn, president, West Virginia Hospital Association; Fred Early, president, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield; and Louise Reese, CEO, West Virginia Primary Care Association.

Leadership West Virginia also will honor for the first time a Distinguished Alumnus at the closing conference luncheon.
