Jackie “Jack” Fouse, 70, of Vienna, died on Wednesday, Aug. 14, at his home.
He was born July 6, 1943 in Parkersburg to the late Okey and Myrtle (Oliver) Fouse.
Jack was an active member of First Lutheran Church and a member of the Camden Clark Volunteer Auxiliary. He retired from Johns-Manville where he worked in maintenance. He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, making penguins, birdhouses, bowls, and vases out of pottery. He treasured his family and friends very much.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Cindy Fouse; two daughters, Michelle Fouse of Vienna and Christina Todd and one granddaughter, Kathryn, of The Woodlands, Texas; three brothers, Ronald Fouse of Austin, Texas, Larry Fouse of Parkersburg and David Oliver of Waverly, W.Va.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Leon Fouse.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. John Onestingel for his care and support he showed Jack and his family.
Memorial contributions in Jack’s memory may be made to the First Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or to the Humane Society of Parkersburg SPOT Clinic.
In accordance with Jack’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
