William Neale Malloy

William Neale Malloy, fell asleep in death on June 19, 2013, at home with family beside him, after an extended illness.

He was born Nov. 11, 1956, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late Thomas P. and Goldie Marie Malloy.

He was a 1975 graduate of PHS and attended two years of college at WVU-P. Neale loved people and was known as “Deal with Neale” during the 20 years he co-owned Kompak convenience stores. He enjoyed “the deal” and loved playing golf.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patty (Dotson) Malloy; three sons, Jason Dotson, Thomas Malloy and Joe Fields, all of Parkersburg; three daughters, Catherine Malloy of Columbus, Ohio, and Laura Lewis (Tommie) and Leigh Reid (Ryan) of Parkersburg; grandchild, Yo’ami Daniel Malloy; sisters, Caryl Spease (Jerry) of Liverpool, Pa., Beth Blake of Coraopolis, Pa., and Bridget Vannoy and Megan Pugh, both of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Heather Beardmore of South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick Malloy; and a sister, Mary Malloy.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. June 29 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, W.Va., with Minister James Long officiating. Visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
