Two arrested in Mineral Wells on meth lab charges
PARKERSBURG – Two people were arrested at a home in Mineral Wells on charges of operating or attempting to operate a methamphetamine laboratory Friday afternoon, police said.
Dale R. Thorn, 46, 893 Dry Run Road, Parkersburg, and Janice Juanita Neveu, 48, 50 Dawson Ave., Mineral Wells, were arrested on drug charges after police conducted a traffic stop on a 1997 Jeep on the parking lot of Pifers Service Center in Mineral Wells.
Upon police surveillance, the vehicle was connected to the Dawson Avenue residence, officials said. Agents with the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force and Wood County Sheriff’s Office deputies followed the vehicle where the car was stopped by police.
Investigators located materials associated with the production of meth inside the car, officials said.
Agents executed a search warrant at the 50 Dawson Ave., Mineral Wells, location.
Investigatiors completed a search warrant on the house, locating evidence of drug production, including a reaction vessel, needles, digital scales and other items used in the manufacturing and distribution of meth, officials said.
Both suspects were arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court and held on $100,000 bond.
