Two reach plea agreements
PARKERSBURG – Two women named as co-defendants by the January grand jury entered guilty pleas Friday in Wood County Circuit Court.
Heather Dawn Morris, 30, of 903 13th Ave., Parkersburg, and Angela Renee Morris, 27, of 33 W. State St., Apt. 6, Athens, Ohio, were named co-defendants in an indictment charging them with two counts each of fraudulent use of an access device and conspiracy to commit fraudulent use of an access device from March 2012.
Heather Dawn Morris entered a plea agreement to plead guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit fraudulent use of an access device. Judge Robert Waters set sentencing for 9 a.m. July 8. A motion for alternative sentencing or probation was taken under advisement.
Angela Renee Morris pleaded guilty to a bill of information charging her with obtaining money by false pretenses. Her sentencing was set by Waters for 9:30 a.m. July 8. A motion for alternative sentencing or probation was taken under advisement.
