Mindy Dawn Snodrass and Brett Michael Fluharty were united in married Oct. 20, 2012, at Fellowship Baptist Church in a private ceremony with close family and friends. Mark Houser officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Paul K. Snodgrass Jr. and Rita Snodgrass. She is the granddaughter of Ruth Pendleberry, the late Jake Pendleberry, the late Ernest Talbert, the late Paul K. Snodgrass Sr. and the late Jo Alice Snodgrass.

The groom is the son of Rodney Fluharty and Kay Fluharty. He is the grandson of Gene Gilchrist and Flora Belle Gilchrist and Rusty Knight and Ruth Knight.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory tulle fit and flare bridal gown that featured a strapless sweetheart bodice with Alencon lace appliques and ivory satin ribbon and a tiered tulle skirt with Alencon lace appliques and chapel train. She carried a bouquet of light peach and ivory hydrangea with a vintage flare.

Amy Renee Snodgrass, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. He wore a sage Green floor-length gown with a shoulder accent.

Serving as bridesmaids were Katrina Stephens-, friend of the bride; Jennifer Fuelling, friend of the bride; Hannah Haddad, friend of the bride; Stephanie White, friend of the bride; and Lindsay Diehl, friend of the bride. Flower girl was Addison Fluharty, niece of the groom.

Serving as best man was Nathan Fluharty, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Zach Sizemore, Josh Stephens, Derek Trembly, Ben Palmer, Todd Fox and Stuart Gobel, all friends of the groom.

Ushers were Daniel Palmer, Jacob Beha and AJ Easter, all friends of the groom.

Taylor Sams sang and played the guitar as guests arrived to the reception and sang “God Gave Me You” for the first dance.

Hollie Smith and Kayla Layner, friends of the bride, registered guests as they arrived to the ceremony.

A reception was held in the ballroom at the Blennerhassett Hotel A four-tiered ivory cake with antique ivory lace on each tier was served.

The bride is a graduate of Marshall University with a bachelor’s degree in advertising. She is employeed at United Bank Inc. as a marketing and training specialist.

The groom is a graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is employeed at CWS as a print service specialist

After a cruise to the Bahamas, St. Maarten and St.Thomas, the couple resides in south Parkersburg.
