Pennsville community extends sympathy to the family of Mildred Rose McGee of Malta. James S. McGee, one of her living son’s, lives in Glouster, and he lived in Pennsville many years ago. Lifelong friends Dolly Krajnak and Margaret Dougan, recently spent the day celebrating Dolly’s success over a three year battle with cancer. After leaving, Dolly’s last chemo treatment, the ladies spent the afternoon with fun, food and laughter. Something Margaret really enjoyed was seeing the ‘sparkle’ back in Dolly’s beautiful eyes! Among many others, wonderful friends like Doyle and Lydia Lee have been a real blessing to Dolly and her husband Mike. Thank God for true friends.
The recent Pennsville United Methodist women’s meeting was very interesting and was very exciting with Rita Martin having the program. The ladies shared prayers for the Missionaries and some of our local community members who are sick. They forged ahead with making plans for the rest of the calendar year including guests from other churches. If you are interested in knowing more, the ladies would love to talk to you. You are always welcome. This cold, snowy weather has really been keeping a lot of our elderly neighbors shut in. Please don’t forget to make a call or drop a line to our fine friends. We look forward to seeing familiar faces like Mrs. Cue Benjamin being out and about. People like her are the backbones of our community. Let’s keep them all in our prayers.
