Cheryl ‘Cheri’ Nulter

Cheryl R. “Cheri” Nulter of Bradenton, Fla., passed away Dec. 30, 2012.

Cheri is survived by her son, Casey James Nulter; her mother, Sabra (Roy) VanFossen of Bradenton; father, Dave (Lois) Nulter of Belleville; sister, Nan Dynan; half brothers, Rick VanFossen and David Nulter; half sisters, Sandy, Terry and Becky; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Born in Parkersburg, W.Va., on Jan. 15, 1959, she was in the first kindergarten class at Grand Central Church of Christ. Cheri attended all of the local schools until 1975 when she moved to Colorado and graduated from Littleton High and attended Arapahoe Community College.

In 1990, Cheri moved with her son, Casey, to Bradenton, Fla., where she was a member of Westside Christian Church. She always taught and loved the children and they have all truly loved “Miss Cheri.” She was the office manager for Harry’s Continental Kitchen on Longboat Key.

Cheri loved her God, her family, her friends and her Country. She always had a compassion for our veterans, the homeless and the poor, even animals.

A Celebration of Cheri’s life will be 2 p.m. Jan. 12 at Westside Christian Church, 3604 15th Ave. W., Bradenton, Fla. 34205, phone 941-746-5969.
